From here

I must confess, I am writing this post from here, chin deep in a bubble bath, indulging in some "Mother's Day chocolate"... Bliss.

From here I enjoy listening to the sounds of my son & husband playing with blocks.

Today we went to our church to check out worship practice for the morning service, from here I am blessed with the sounds of hymns being sung from the lips of our new congregation members.

This morning we stopping in the local fly shop where my husband picked up his graduation gift- a new fly rod, from here I watch the smile beam across his face, thankful to be back to the mountainous wilderness.

This evening we went for a drive into the mountains. From there, you ask? From there I watched herds I elk roam about, mulies hop fences and my husband gaze upon the beautiful creation from God that we get the privileged to call our new home.

From here, I am blessed. I am exited. I am home.

High five for Friday!

Well, we made it! Jimmy graduated from TBC with his bachelors in Christian leadership pastoral & youth, biblical studies and a minor is psychology and counseling! So so proud of him!

We arrived in wyoming at our new home, errr ... home for the next week while we wait to move into our real home, on Monday!

We picked up the newest member of the Tolle house on our way here, we now have a sweet, 7 week old yellow/red lab, Dakotah.

We got keys to our church! That's pretty exciting!

We aquired two la-z-boys, gifted to us! Since our entire house is still packed up (waiting to move to our real home) we are more than thankful to be relaxing in chairs tonight and not on an air matress! Haha!

Tonight we had pizza and are watching the back to the future trilogy! Loving some family r&r these days!

One year ago: just the two of us

I am thankful for the time Jimmy and I had together, just the two of us, before James was born.

This photo was taken the morning I was induced  admitted to the hospital to be induced and then told I was last on the list and that there were too many ladies already IN labor and that I had to go home and come back and try again another day, unless I was in labor naturally.

THAT being said, I am also thankful for a few other things...

 God's timing

...

modern medicine

...

and weight loss!

:)

happy Wednesday and happy day before your birthday Mr. James!!!

Tolles Take Wyoming Part II

On the trip down, we celebrated both Jimmy's and my birthdays. We specifically had no parties cakes or gifts in an effort to save up for our big trip, specifically tourist traps and miscellaneous roadside fascinations! When we left town, we headed south; through the South Dakota Capital of Pierre. Our "spring break" started out with snow and rain. We made a pit stop at WalMart and were back on the road towards Wall.

Wall Drug is the tourist trap of tourist traps. Most if it was closed for the season, BUMMER! But we did get to experience the cute little town!

We saw the "Traveler's Chapel"...

... and Jimmy found this fine lady...

...meanwhile I found the creepiest looking dude I could...

...and James supervised from his new stroller...

... One of the biggest benefits of the pit stop? This family photo that is ACTUALLY decent! yay!

Happy Wednesday!

Tolles Take Wyoming Part 1

To kick of this mini series of our trip to check out our potential new home, I figured there is no better way to start than with the star of the little town...

...the Jackalope.

One of the gas stations in town has a huge jackalope in the back corner, just waiting for tourist season.

So, for your viewing pleasure, here we are, in all our glory, riding a jackalope in Dubois, WY!
